OBJECTIVES

1. To promote the understanding and appreciation of contemporary African art and culture while re-defining age old misconceptions as regards African creativity.

2. To promote cross-cultural understanding and identify similarities between people of different cultural backgrounds, by encouraging interaction between Nigerian and non-Nigerian artists through our artists residency program.

3. To encourage and invigorate the secondary art market in Nigeria by the comprehensive valuation of works of art.

4. To encourage a new generation of artists through various activities, workshops and bursaries targeting today's youth in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.

5. To use art and culture as a vehicle for re-building Nigeria's international image with a series of publications, documentaries and international exhibitions on Nigerian art and culture.
