In accordance with Federal Government directives outlawing
the export of all antiquities, the centre
only deals in contemporary works of
art and modern copies of original African
craft.
In addition, as major stakeholders
in the art sector estimated to be worth
in excess of One billion U.S Dollars,
we give added assurance of the originality
and authenticity of every item purchased
from the Centre. The centre also operates
as a regulatory body monitoring standards,
pricing and valuation in the trade.
To reflect our resolute
commitment to the development of the
country's art and culture sector, the
Centre issues a unique seal authenticating
every art piece sold from the centre.
This seal is an added assurance of the
originality of the work of art or document
on which it appears and comes directly
from the office of the creative Director.
The Nimbus seal can be found;
Accompanying the Chairman's signature.
Behind paintings bought from the centre.
On the base of sculptures bought from the centre.
On certified valuation sheets.
